Company Background

Pacific Turbine Services (PTS) is a consulting, technical Supervision and turn-key service provider to the Power Generation, Pulp and Paper and Petroleum industries specializing in the repair, maintenance, installation and overhauls of Steam Turbines and their related components.  PTS is located is headquartered in Gold Hill, Oregon and serves the Greater Northwest and Rocky Mountain States. 

PTS was started and is currently owned and operated by David Maxwell who has been a Steam Turbine Field Service Engineer for over 30 years.  Starting his career as an Elliott Service Engineer in 1980 under the tutelage of one of the Industry’s leading turbine experts, Larry Jadot, a 35 year veteran of the steam generation industry.

David spent 9 months in training with the Elliott Factory in Jeanette Pennsylvania and was employed with the Elliott Company for over 8 years.  He went on to be trained by the G.E. factory in Schenectady, New York in turbine maintenance and repair.  In 1989 he started Maxwell & Associates which has now grown and evolved into Pacific Turbine Services LLC, providing skilled engineering and technical supervision to the Pulp & Paper,
Power Generation and Petroleum Industries.

It is through the support, training and encouragement of Larry Jadot and Jack Amos, among others, that Pacific Turbine Services came into being.  It is our goal at PTS to keep their memories bright by holding true to their fine tradition of providing quality workmanship, dependability and strong business ethics.
